True access to meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities can only be achieved when we ensure that people are not disincentivized to work because of fear of losing other key services or concerns about how to obtain supports on the job. Unfortunately, however, too many individuals with disabilities continue to be afraid of exactly that. In this video, Porzio Planning's Elizabeth Shea, along with guest speakers Wesley Anderson from The Arc of New Jersey, and Jennifer Joyce, Director of Employment Services, from the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), outline the ways that individuals with disabilities in New Jersey can access the needed support services to be successful in finding and maintaining employment, without risking other necessary services and supports.
